Aquatic Center  - Public swimming pool. Open April through October.  Two heated pools.  Near the bandshell at Ferran Park.

 

Tennis Courts

Public Boat Ramps - On Lakeshore Dr. at the bridge (just past Sharp’s Mobile Home Park). Docks, ramp & parking on both sides of bridge. Also, there is a State ramp off N. Bay St. that goes into Trout Run.

Trout Lake Nature Center - A 230 acre wildlife preserve located on the north edge of Eustis.  The preserve protects the flora and fauna of a wetlands-forest habitat bordering on Trout Lake.  FREE ADMISSION.  Open: Oct. 1 - April 30 from 9 AM - 4 PM Fridays & Saturdays and 1 PM - 4 PM Sunday’s.  Call 357-7536.

 

Eustis Historical Museum & Preservation Society/Eustis Citrus Museum

536 N. Bay St., Eustis  483-0046  Located in the historic Clifford House, built in 1910-1911.  The Citrus Museum is the only independently housed citrus museum in the state. Located south of the Clifford House.

Hidden Waters Preserve - Off Country Club Dr. & Abrams Rd. in Eustis. This 90-acre site was acquired in 1996 and contains Lake Alfred and a fresh-water spring-fed stream. A well-laid trail encircles the sink of the preserve. For more info call 1-800-798-1071.

Biking Trails

 

The Paisley Woods Bicycle Trail is a 22 mile trail through the Ocala National Forest.  Shorter loops are available, such as the 11.1-mile Alexander Springs loop and the 10-mile Clearwater Lake loop.  The northern trailhead is in Altoona and the southern trailhead is in Paisley.
