We are busy preparing for the Chamber Breakfast that will take place tomorrow.  There will be tons of information provided about the Business Opportunity Center and other things happening at the city, county, and state level.  Be sure not to miss this event!  RSVP right away so we can give an accurate count to the caterer.  The breakfast will begin at 7:15 at the Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Drive.  Come early for coffee and networking!  Also, don't forget our "Mother, may I..." campaign to collect food donations for local pantries.  Get a notecard to give to your Mom on Mother's Day when you donate a non-perishable food item!  You will also be entered into the drawing for a free 1/4 page ad in our next newsletter.

Here are reminders about upcoming Chamber events this month: 

• Lunch & Learn Seminar - Wednesday, May 16th from 11:30 to 1:00 PM at Lake Emergency Medical Services located at 2761 West Old US Hwy 441 in Mt. Dora.   Jim Judge will talk about the efficient services, technologies, and medical protocols used by the re-organized county corporation.  The cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  RSVP by Tuesday, May 15th.
• Comedy Club Night - Saturday, May 19th at  7:30 PM.  Cafe Gianni located at 31 E. Magnolia Avenue in Downtown Eustis.  Tim Totten will emcee! Comedians to be announced.  Advanced sale tickets are only $20.  Tickets at the door are $25 each.
• Business After Hours - Thursday, May 24th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Grand Court Tavares located at 1211 Caroline Street East in Tavares.  Come on out and taste the great hors d'oeuvres prepared by award winning Chef Lisa Archer.  RSVP by May 17th!    

People attending the breakfast will find ballots on the tables so we can collect extra input for the 2013 GeorgeFest theme.  If you can't be with us tomorrow, choices are posted on the Chamber's web site and the voting process is fast and easy!  Please go to www.eustichamber.org and click on the link to cast your vote.   Don't forget that voting closes on Friday, May 25th.  Prefer to cast your vote personally?  Call the Chamber at 357-3434 and state your choice. 

Don't forget the chamber services if you need copies made for advertising inserts, presentation materials, or any type of handout.  Our prices are competitive and turn around times are great.  Prices for members are:  $0.39 per page for FULL COLOR and $0.06 per page for Black/White.  Most orders can be completed & readied for pick-up within the same business day. New Vision for Independence will be showing the movie "Going Blind" on May 24th in the Magnolia Room at Lake-Sumter Community College.  Show times are 10 AM and 2 PM.
